ANTİYAPFEST2 (2nd ANKARA THEATER Producers Association FESTIVAL) IN FEBRUARY 2026

ANTİYAPFEST, organized in collaboration with Çankaya Municipality, is taking place in Ankara between February 5th and 15th.
ANTİYAPFEST has a unique feature that distinguishes it from other theatre festivals; The festival gives place only plays and workshops produced in Ankara. Ankara-based theatre companies present their own productions to the audience, and in this respect, the festival stands out as a pioneering event that highlights local art production.
Within the scope of the festival, which will be held for the second time this year, it is performed 12 adult plays, 4 children's plays, and 1 workshop. AnTiYap member theaters will perform their plays both in private theater venues and on the stages of Çankaya Municipality.
Festival program will be announced on www.antiyap.org.tr and AnTiYap social media accounts, tickets will be available for purchase through BiletiniAl.com.
Theater Pink Frog will participate in the festival on Saturday, February 7th with their play Doing As Much As Ant Can.

ALİ NİHAT YAVŞAN PARTICIPATED IN THE 'WHAT IS ART TO ME?' MEETING

The meeting titled 'What is Art to Me?', organized by Ankara University Faculty of Health Sciences, took place on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
During the meeting, all speakers shared her perspective to Child Development students, Prof. Dr. Seçil Büker on cinema, our art director Ali Nihat Yavşan on theatre, Prof. Dr. İlknur Özal Göncü on music, and Müge Tüzün Gerçek on radio. We thank Prof. Dr. Aysel Köksal Akyol and the Faculty
of Health Sciences for organizing this efficient and enjoyable meeting.

WE WERE AT THE INTERNATIONAL BURSA KARAGÖZ PUPPET AND SHADOW PLAY FESTIVAL

Organized by the Bursa Culture, Arts and Tourism Foundation in collaboration with UNIMA Turkey, the festival took place in Bursa, at the Merinos AKKM, from November 14-23, 2025.
As Theater Pembe Kurbağa, it was a great pleasure to meet with the children of Bursa and share the excitement of the play with them through our performance of Dear Toprak and Daisy.

WE SAID HELLO TO THE NEW THEATER SEASON AT KUĞULUPARK

The theaters that are members of ANTİYAP (Ankara Theater Producers Association), including ours, welcomed the 2025-2026 art season in Kuğulu Park.
The VEEE PERDE event, organized in collaboration with Çankaya Municipality and AnTiYap, took place under the title A Taste of Plays on Sunday, September 28th 2025, between 2 PM and 6 PM in Kuğulu Park, one of Ankara's iconic locations.
At the event, private theaters that are members of AnTiYap met with Ankara's children and adult audiences and presented short previews of their season's plays. The audiences enjoyed hours of fun with music and dance, embarking on a journey into a world of imagination with fairytale characters in mascot costumes.
At the event, Ali Nihat Yavşan, President of ANTİYAP and artistic director of our theater, presented an excerpt from the play Hiç - Neyzen Teyfik, written and directed by Sedat Demirsoy.
A preview of Karınca Kararınca, one of the children's plays we will be performing this season, was also presented.
